Each compact features two options: a universal translucent powder that mattifies, and a sheerly tinted version with a hint of radiance for the areas of the face where you want to see a seamless finish to your makeup.

Hilary is known for creating beautiful, fresh complexions, and educating clients on the power of highlighting and contouring to ensure that the features you love most are shown in their best light – literally. With this in mind, Hilary designed this dual compact to encourage a dimensional look; one that is the opposite of what could be achieved with the drying, flattening powders of the past.

For those moments when you don’t have the time or energy for considered application, the two shades can also easily be swirled together for an effortless one-and-done finishing step.

Whichever way you choose to apply it, the Empowder Duette blurs and refines the skin while providing hydration and comfort. This is your skin, refined.

Take the powder puff from the bottom of the compact and gently dip it into the translucent shade to use on any areas of the face where you want to firmly knock back shine. This tends to be areas we get oilier first, so for many of us this may be across and just next to the nose, as well as across the forehead and chin. Use a press and roll method to ensure light, smooth application.

Next, take the puff into the sheer tinted section of powder to apply to areas of the face where you’d like a polished look that is a little brighter and slightly less matte, such as across the forehead, the cheeks and chin.

The squared-off powder puff has been specifically designed by Hilary to ensure you can access all
angles and hard-to-reach areas of the face, which a traditional round puff can make difficult.

Each compact includes dual formulas: a transparent powder as well as a sheer, tinted version. The tinted versions contain minimal pigment, to ensure that each shade can be stretched across many skin tones and also that no white cast is left on the skin.

The tinted versions are currently available in two shades, Light/Medium and Medium/Dark, which together work across 80% of skin tones. We have two more shades on the way to cover the very lightest and deepest ends of the skin spectrum, which will bring the range to four easily adaptable and fully inclusive options.
